About Us
Oxbox.TV was launched on Saturday the 19th of March, 2011. Oxbox.TV is an online local community TV station based in Oxfordshire for the people of Oxfordshire! Oxbox.TV provides broadcast quality videos via the internet, bringing you up to date content from Oxfordshire and delivering it right to your desktop, mobile phone, laptop, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and internet ready TV.

Oxbox.TV provides free of charge videoing services for local authorities, community and charity based projects within Oxfordshire, plus low cost website advertising and video/web video services for local business to promote their company and/or products which can be embedded in to their websites and streamed from our Amazon Cloudfront servers.

Oxbox.TV is run by four directors, Gavin Hyatt, Richard Kibbey, Chris Smith and Gavin Glover. Born out of our love of making community based videos, if just one person tells us, 'we liked that video you did about........', it makes it all worth the while! and luckily enough, plenty of people do.

videoing requests that are not covered by the remit of Oxbox.TV are produced by our sister company 'Oxford Television Limited' which has the same commitment to producing high quality videos.

Ox, Oxbox and Oxbox.TV are trading names of Oxbox.TV CIC which is registered with companies house (Registered No 07553865), what's a CIC you ask? Community Interest Companies (CICS) are limited companies, with special additional features, created for the use of people who want to conduct a business or other activity for community benefit, and not purely for private advantage. This is achieved by a 'community interest test' and 'asset lock', which ensure that the CIC is established for community purposes and the assets and profits are dedicated to these purposes.

So thanks for visiting our site and taking the time to read all that. Remember, you're watching Oxbox.TV!
